Jana Sena chief Pawan Kalyan is scheduled to get the first list of the party candidates for the 25 Lok Sabha seats today. The party leaders who held series of meetings during this week have prepared the list that would be presented to the party chief in the party headquarters here on Friday. The Jana Sena chief would hold consultations with the senior leaders on the list before clearing the names.

The Jana Sena is fully geared up now for the elections. Though its focus is more on the Assembly elections, the party had decided to clear the Lok Sabha names ahead of sitting on the names for the Assembly seats. This might take a few more weeks for the party to clear the names of the aspirants, the party wants to wait for some more time as there are several leaders from other parties to switch loyalties in the next two months.

Pawan Kalyan had already completed the district level review meetings with the party leaders. He is also planning to complete the talks with the CPI and the CPM on seat sharing before he takes a final call on his party candidates. The Jana Sena chief is seriously looking at the options to tell the TDP that they have won the 2014 elections only because of Pawan Kalyan and not on their own strength. The TDP had won with just a little over 5 lakh votes against the YSR Congress and the Jana Sena says that those 5 lakh votes are from its kitty. This has to be proved this time as they are planning to contest separately, breaking the alliance.

The JanaSena chief had rejected the friendship offer extended by Chandrababu Naidu. Though Naidu had benefited from the JanaSena in the last elections, several of the TDP leaders have discounted it and are not ready to give the credit to PawanKalyan. The JanaSena chief, thus is seriously exploring every possibility to teach a fitting lesson to the TDP. PawanKalyan is unwilling to give any margin to the TDP as they have made adverse comments against him, his popularity and his party’s image. It is time for the JanaSena chief to tell everyone what he means in politics and it is here PawanKalyan is working seriously on picking up the winning horses.
