Super Star Mahesh Babu’s Maharshi is all set to hit the screens on May 9th. Mediocre promotions, poor music, financial disputes between the producers all become headaches for Mahesh Babu just before the release.
On the other hands, Pydipalli Vamshi, the director of Maharshi is facing harsh criticism from all over the film fraternity. He is the only exorbitant filmmaker right after SS Rajamouli crossing 100Cr budget for a film. On top of it, Vamshi’s Maharshi is not even a visual effects film like Bahubali (according to sources).
However, the immense craze of Mahesh Babu in the Telugu States proved one more time with the maximum number of pre-bookings for any films in Twin Cities. Asian Cinemas opened the bookings for the Maharshi film and over one lakh tickets were sold within no time. This is only in Asian Theatre Circute. Single Screens, other multiplexes yet to open the bookings for Maharshi. So, it might cross 3 Lakhs tickets in Twin Cities and if this happens, Maharshi will beat the first place in collections in Nizam area.
